I help my clients live the life the want in retirement by creating portfolios that are aligned with their risk tolerance and designed to provide a steady stream of income.
I am passionate about helping my clients prepare for retirement and beyond. As a long-time resident of the Lake of the Ozarks, I enjoy helping current residents and those retiring to the lake, live the retirement lifestyle they have worked so hard for. While we are not a small company, we strive to have the “home town” feel. Our clients know they can stop by the office or give us a call anytime.
Whether you are planning for retirement, relocating to the lake and want to work with a local advisor, or planning for long-term care, I can help. There are many unknowns and it’s easy to make the wrong decision. It is my job to walk you through your options and help you avoid unnecessary tax consequences. While the process can seem complex, I keep it simple. Everything I do focuses on providing you the freedom to face the future with greater confidence. Together, we will develop and implement a plan that encompasses your total financial picture; current financial situation, short- and long-term goals, within your risk tolerance.
I am a life-long Mid-Missouri resident, and I graduated from Westminster College with a degree in business finance. In 2010, I joined the Central Investment Advisors family, located at Central Bank of the Lake of the Ozarks. In 2015, I earned designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional from the CFP® Board by completing extensive training in financial, estate and retirement planning, along with insurance, investments, taxes, and employee benefits.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife Jackie and our two children. I enjoy playing golf, fishing, and being actively involved in the community.

Why Choose a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional?
Most people think all financial planners are “Certified,” but this isn’t true. Anyone can say they are a “financial planner”. Individuals who fulfill requirements established by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. have demonstrated a high level of competency, professionalism, and ethics. Only those financial advisors who have completed the rigorous education and testing requirements can claim the CFP® distinction.
What can you Expect Working with a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional?
CFP Board Rules of Conduct require CFP® Professionals to put your interests ahead of their own at all times and to provide their financial planning services as a “fiduciary.”
Your personal information is safeguarded and never shared with anyone without your prior written approval.
Fees and costs associated with any investment plan or product are disclosed to you prior to being charged or collected
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) owns the CFP® certification mark, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification mark, and the CFP® certification mark (with plaque design) logo in the United States, which it authorizes the use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board initial and ongoing certification requirements.
